Healing Items - Heal various amounts to either individual or group Curative Items - Cures status ailments Magic Restoring Items - These will replenish monsters' MP Miscellaneous - Items that really can't be classified elsewhere Stat Seeds - These will permanently increase stats of your monsters. You can't buy these in shops. Books - These will alter the personalities of your monsters, but may not do it in one use. Are available in the SouthWest shop once you have access to it. Can also be found on Masters you beat in the wild. All cost 5000G Staff - The various staff items you will encounter. The South shop will sell these once you have access to it. Each works several times before breaking (except for the warpstaff and shinyharp)
