There are a little over 200 different monsters, broken down into 11 different families. Each monster has its
unique set of stats, skills and resistances. In this tutorial, we will talk about the different aspects of the monster.
First we will talk about the monster's basic stats, which are HP, MP, ATT, DEF, AGI, and INT.
The HP, or Hit Points, will indicate how much damage the monster will be able to take before being knocked out (up to 999).
The MP, or Magic Points, will indicate how much magic is available for the monster to use on skills (up to 999).
The ATT, or Attack, will indicate how strong the monster's attacks will be (up to 999).
The DEF, or Defense, will indicate how well the monster will defend against attacks (up to 999).
The AGI, or Agility, will indicate how well the monster will avoid attacks, how early it can attack in a round (up to 512).
The INT, or Intelligence, will indicate how well the monster can use its magic.
There are also other stats the monster will have, such as XP and LV.
The XP, or Experience Points, indicate how much experience the monster has earned from battle.
The LV, or Level, indicates the current experience level.
Upon gaining enough experience (which is dependant on monster type), the monster will gain a level. This will cause it to
gain points in their basic stats (the amount of this increase is also dependant on monster type). For more information about these stats,
refer to the Stats and Pics Section.
There is also one last stat, WLD, or Wildness, which indicates the monsters unrest. If the monster has been sitting in the farm too long
(and has not been with you) this will increase to the point that the monster will not listen to you.
Now that you have some idea of what monsters are all about, you may ask - how do I get some? Once you have your first one from Pulio, you
can enter the Gates and get some more (more about that later). After a victory in battle (more about that later), the last monster
you finished off may ask to join you. During battle, you can increase the chance of this happening by throwing meats. Later monsters
will take more meat (and better meat) before they ask to join.
The last, and probably most interesting thing about the monster, though, is the breeding. After some time in the game, you will be able to breed monsters
together. This will allow you to create new, more powerful monster that will inherit the stats, skills and resistances of the parents!
