There are many things that may seem confusing if you are new to the Dragon Warrior Monsters Series. This newbie help section will not repeat information already available SOMEWHERE on the site, but will instead show you where to find it.

If you are having trouble with the basic ideas of the game, or the controls, please check the appropriate areas in the Basics section.

If you are having trouble finding your way through a particular area, check the closely integrated Maps and Gates sections.

If you need information about monster breeding, check our full breeding guide. Make sure to note that in most cases, you can click on the monsters name to go to ITS breeding entry (so you can backtrack a long breed this way.

If you want information about the growth rate of a particular monster, or want to see its entry in the library, go to the Stat & Pics subsection.
