I am currently working in Richardson, Texas at Fujitsu Network Communication in the ASIC division.
I was born and raised in Rhode Island until the family picked up and moved to Arlington, Texas in 1980. There I attended Miller Elementary, Young Jr. High School and Martin High School. I went to the University of Texas at Austin for college and graduated with a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering.
After college I took a job in Japan at the SECOM Intelligent Systems Laboratory. Their core business is to provide all kinds of security systems throughout Japan. The reseach lab was set-up to find new ways to bring technology to security systems and their other businesses.
After working for several years in Japan, I went to graduate school at Texas A&M University and earned a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering.
During my stay in Japan I met Akie Hoshino. We married in June 1999 in Arlington, Texas. I have put a few pictures of the wedding on-line.
After driving all over the Southwest USA, Akie and I moved to Austin in July 1999. I started working at Motorola in the PowerPC Somerset Design Center as a verification engineer. Akie completed two certificates at Austin Community College and started working at Tokyo Electron America in the HR department.
In October 2000, Akie and I moved again. This time so I could take a job at Fujitsu Network Communications in Richardson, Texas.
