Slime
One of the better families. Except for the Metal Slime sub-family, generally have
very high hp and grow very rapidly. The Metal Slime sub-family has various
resistences, in addition to a very high defense.
Dragon
As you would expect, this family is high in all areas. They also have resistances
against breath attacks. The drawback is that they are slow to level up.
Beast
This is a well rounded family, with resistances to many low-level skills. In
addition, they usually have a high attack and HP.
Bird
Members of this family are among the easiest to level up. They are very quick and
have some resistances to thunder based attacks.
Plant
The best spellcasting family, with both high intelligence and MP. The drawback is a
very low agility.
Bug
Although they are weak at the beginning, members of this family possess a potential
for high attack and defense. They also possess a variety of poison based attacks.
Devil
A very powerful family, with high attacks, defense, and HP. They also possess a
resistance to many spells and skills.
Zombie
Although this family has very high HP, they are mediocre in just about everything
else. Also very weak against paralysis.
Material
Members of this family are animated objects, such as lamps or armors. They are highly
resistant to fire and ice based attacks, and also have very high defense.
Boss
Without a doubt, the strongest family overall. High in everything, with moderate to
high resistance to everything. Made up of the bosses from the old Dragon
Warrior/Quest games.
